Dr. Cheah brings extensive expertise in implantology and cosmetic dentistry, with a particular focus on smile design. Her dedication extends beyond the clinic, as she has volunteered with Australian Health Humanitarian Aid in Cambodia.
Dr. Leanne Pham, Dentist, graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne. Before joining Melville Dental Care, she provided valuable dental care to patients in regional Victoria. Dr. Pham prioritises building trusting relationships with her patients to ensure their comfort throughout their dental journey.
Dr. Michael O'Laco, Dentist, earned his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Adelaide. His background includes volunteer dental work in Vietnam and experience in rehabilitation counselling, which allows him to effectively manage patient anxiety. Dr. O'Laco has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and enjoys treating families.
Ms. Emily Nguyen, Oral Health Therapist, is passionate about providing patients with personalised dental hygiene education and preventive care. She has a special interest in children's dentistry and ensuring a positive dental experience for young patients.
Dr Leanne and her dental assistant were amazing. Dr Leanne was gentle with my 6 year old son who had a check up, clean and xray. She was very thorough, accomodating and calm and explained every step. The whole experience was very relaxing for my son.Thumbs up to the receptionist who was very friendly and gave my boys goodie bags! She also took the time to gave me pricing information about a possible dental plan.
Got four of my wisdom teeth removed this afternoon, Dr Jen was super professional,quick and gentle!! You won’t even feel a thing! He talked me through the whole process before hand and always made sure each steps are safe to do so.Big THANK YOU to Dr Jen and the team!!

Good things come to those who wait…I initially waited nearly 45 minutes in the waiting room and was about to walk out. I then saw Dentist Jen and he was beyond expectation. I had a terrible experience a week earlier at another dentist and I’m glad I didn’t walk out.

The best dentist experience I've had!From the service with changing booking time and day, to the cleanliness of the place and of course - the staff!Dr Lisa explained everything and gave quotes up front, taking into account the health insurance provider and all. Also offered really good information and advice on what to do for upcoming procedures required (that I knew already that I needed and had asked for details about, so not an attempt to get my money!).Highly recommend!
Sheepishly going back to the dentist after many years of no appointments - Dr Jen and team were super welcoming and efficient. Great location, with lots of scans and tech in one place. Have since gone back for clean, and to have mouthguard made. Quick, friendly care every time.
My first visit with a broken tooth. Dr Jen was thorough and knowledgeable and had fixed 2 problems, done x-rays and a polish in no time. Emily was great to deal with, fitting me in a day ahead due a cancelled appointment. Facilities appear to be right up to date, and it is in easy walking distance from my home. Thoroughly recommended.
Best dental practice in all of Melbourne. The staff and dental assistants are extremely friendly and accommodating. Dr Jen Cheah is also one of the most skilled, empathetic and dedicated dentists there is. Above all, they used the best technology in their tools and X-Rays. All in all, you (and/or your health insurance) are paying for the most optimal quality of service for your teeth. Highly recommended!

I had a minor emergency where I had chipped my front tooth. While contemplating what life would be like to just leave it like that, my wife made a booking at Melville dental care. The staff are very friendly and re assuring, I was made to feel safe and comfortable during the entire experience. Very grateful they were able to help during a difficult time like COVID.
