Experience Superior Dental Crowns in Coburg with CEREC Technology

Digital chairside dentistry with CEREC

CEREC is the superior digital chairside treatment experience for patients at Melville Dental Care. It enables our clinicians to manufacture dental restorations on our purpose built premises.
After 35 years of continuous optimisation, CEREC gives our dentists the options they need to treat multiple indications with the confidence that comes from outstanding results.

Benefits of digital chairside dentistry with CEREC

Working with CEREC will continuously increase the craftsmanship of our dentist's treatment. The system offers multiple benefits for the dentist, the practice team, and patients – making it even more enjoyable.

1. Growing patient satisfaction

Offers patients the convenience of high-quality restorations and a modern treatment in a single visit. No impression trays, fewer injections, and abstinence of temporaries lead to patient recommendations.

2. Clinical safety and full quality control

CEREC users are in control of the whole workflow, from scanning to the completed restoration. This leads to clinically reliable results with no surprises and no extensive reworking. Every part of the latest CEREC system works in seamless harmony with the others, like a perfectly synchronised team.

3. Expansion of the range of indications

From bridges to crowns, from implant abutments to veneers: Expand the range of indications with CEREC seamless and validated workflows for restorative, implantology and orthodontics.

1. Scan

Say "No More!" to the discomfort of conventional impressions and moulds. Take an intraoral scan with CEREC Primescan, making scanning easier, more intuitive, and produce precise 3D models in natural colours.

2. Design

With the CEREC software, our dentists can design customised restorations. As the initial proposals are

very accurate and the user interface is clearly structured and intuitive, this takes very little time.

3. Manufacture

Next, the design is sent to the milling machine. The grinding or milling process is extremely precise and creates smooth surfaces and margins, as well as ultrafine structures. A large variety of materials for crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, and more is available.

4. Sinter and finish

All-ceramic zirconium oxide restorations can be sintered and glazed in the CEREC SpeedFire furnace right at Melville Dental Care.
