Dental Services We Provide
Initial Examination
This will be your first step towards great dental health.
We begin with a one hour full examination and assessment of your dental and oral health.
Dental Hygiene
Establishing and maintaining good gum and bone health is essential prior to commencing any dental work you are considering.
Whitening
Whitening has become a very popular option as a brighter and lighter smile becomes easy to achieve with at-home whitening.
Sealants
A sealant is a hard plastic coating applied to the pits and fissures (grooves) on the chewing surfaces of premolars and molars. It is used as a barrier to protect the grooves from decay where toothbrush bristles cannot clean.
Restorations
Restorations or ‘Fillings' treat new and recurring areas of decay and replace/rebuild missing tooth structure.
Root Canal Treatment
Endodontic or “Root Canal” Treatment is used to save teeth that, in the past, would have been extracted.
Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth are the third molars which usually appear between the ages of 17 and 24. If there is ample room for the wisdom teeth they will come through normally. Sometimes not all 4 are present or they may not come through properly.
Crowns
A crown is a custom made hollow shell or ‘cap’ used to completely cover a tooth. They can be made from gold, porcelain fused to a metal base or full porcelain.
Bridges
A bridge is a fixed restoration used to replace a missing tooth or fill in a gap. It is usually cemented or bonded into place. As there are a few types of bridges, your Dentist will recommend the best type for your situation.
Bruxism and Night Guards
A nightguard is basically a small, specialised mouth guard worn while sleeping that keeps the teeth apart and the jaw in a relaxed position. It helps to prevent damage to teeth caused by the pressure of bruxing (grinding and clenching).
Implants
Implants are the closest alternative to a natural tooth. A dental implant is used to replace the root portion of a missing tooth.
Orthodontic Treatment, Porcelain Veneers and Whitening.
Orthodontics is concerned with the treatment of malocclusions (improper bite). Veneers can be used to improve the appearance of teeth and Whitening creates a wonderful ‘lift’ to the smile by whitening natural teeth
